Second, I'm not gonna go over the shorts for Dexter's Laboratory or Johnny Bravo because they actually got packaged into their own series instead of just being exclusive to these shorts alone. I'll only talk about the ones I remember. First up, I'm not gonna talk about EVERY What A Cartoon short that was made. But before we begin, I just have to point out a few things. So, enough of the origin, we'd better get started. And if you remember this special, the way that Craig dissed Space Ghost and his clip was only half a second compared to the others, the joke was probably that his was gonna win whether it was predicted or now. The winner was none other than Craig McCracken with the first short of his series of crime fighting kindergarteners, the Powerpuff Girls. Space Ghost would interview five different directors from the studio and the Council of Doom, his old enemies, would judge and score the directors based on completely random categories, mainly clips of their cartoons and the winner would have his cartoon debut after the show. It started on the animated talk show Space Ghost Coast To Coast episode President's Day Nightmare, otherwise known as the 'World Premiere Toon In'.

Or maybe not depending on how you saw them. Who you saw and what they would do would never be the same, and they were worth the 7 minutes of our lives. Each Sunday night, a new short would premiere featuring a different character under different approaches and scenarios. Me: What exactly does saying those three words together mean? Well, in 1995, Cartoon Network decided to gather different directions from the Hanna-Barbera animation studio and create any of their own 7 minute shorts and be placed in a series of different shorts that was called 'What A Cartoon!' labelled as 'World Premiere Toons'. But our first installment for this month I would like to dedicate to three simple words that we can all recall even to this day.

This network brought us all of our favorite characters from before our time into one network that played nothing but cartoons 24/7.
